Entry Point: Teamwork

The class was given a bunch of challenges to complete as a group. It was interesting to see what role students took on naturally. Some were leading, some were helping long others, some were contributing ideas, some were ready to help the team in other ways. No matter what roles they took on, the students developed the idea that the team needed to have different roles to make the team work.

We discussed what IPC personal goals are necessary to work well as a group:
Cooperation
Communication
Adaptability
Resilience
Enquiry
Thoughtfulness
Respect

The students also gave examples of how they used each one in these activities.

Here are photos of the some activities:

Lift the Bucket

Making a plan of attack. Communication

Getting to the other side without touching the wooden floor while holding hands.

Helping each other.

 Success!

Blindfold communication
