We are lucky enough to have a real living INVENTOR as a parent at our school! Lidori and Nikko's dad, Sander, kindly popped by and talked to us about how an inventor works and showed us some of his inventions that he has worked on and is currently working on.
COMPOST BIN CONSTRUCTION
Next term we are doing a lot of garden, I thought it's time we have a compost bin to get into the habit of composting for a garden. It will take a few months before we get some nice compost coming through, but we have to start sometime.
So here are some pictures of Primary 2 and some helpers from Primary 1 and Preschool, making the groovy little compost bin. (By the way you are welcome to collect your veggie scraps and bring them in occasionally-no citrus, onion or eggshells- worms take a looooong time to eat them)
