After spending the first few weeks, catching up with numbers- counting, sequences, patterns, mental tricks (like pairs that add to make 10 and partitioning), we have now moved on to some shape work. We worked on naming and sorting regular and irregular polygons. We learnt the word quadrilateral (four sided shapes). We made right-angles and stuck them around the playground. We also did a bit of perimeter graffiti around the tiles.
The Primary 2 team last week. We now have one more. So thats 7 + 1
This the incredible sunrise, when I get to school in the mornings. It's worth it!
