Headquarters send us our first outdoor training mission. We had to follow instructions using a compass and the directions N, E, S, W, NE, SE, SW and NW; we had to count the number of steps indicated. Then we had to dig or find a small sealed paper that had a letter on it. We collected 12 letters and rearranged them to make words. These words told us where to go next.
